I just finished installing Office 2003 Small Business
Edition. I configure Outlook to connect to my Exchange
2000 server and when I try and open Outlook it gives me
the error "Unable to open your default e-mail folders.
You must connect to your Microsoft Exchange server with
the current profile before you can synchronize your
folders with your offline folder file". Outlook 2002
works just fine.

Anyone else run into this problem before? It acts like
Outlook is trying to synchronize upon startup.

It was a fresh install.

did you install it as an upgrade? if so, try a new profile.

So I uninstalled Office 2003 completely. I then installed
Office XP Professional and connected with Outlook with no
problem. I then upgraded to Office 2003 and Outlook works
fine. I guess it's just another fine Mickeysoft product.
