Outlook 2003 and 2007 synch

Will Outlook 2007 be able to synch with 2003?

I'd like to try 2007 on my desktop however my laptop may not be
powerful enough. If so are there any known synching problems?

outlook does sync - you can leave mail on the server and download it into
both or copy the pst between machines. Both 2003 and 2007 use the Unicode
format but 2007 adds some additional metadata to the items in the pst, so
while it will work, there are some issues with the metadata.
