Outlook 2003 and 2002 Recover Deleted Items Not Working

Multiple people having same issue on Outlook 2002 and Outlook 2003 running
on Exchange 2000.

Recovering delete items options not available.

The option to select Recovered deleted items is there. However once you
select the items that should be there to be recovered are not. Plus all of
the menu options at the top are greyed out.

I have ran detect and repair, reinstalled and re-created the profile.
This happening on all profiles on my system plus that of 3 others in the
company.

Any feedback greatly appreciated.

Which folder are you using it in? It only works in the deleted items folder
unless you set a registry key.

Thanks Diane,

Figured it out - there were some recent changes on the mailboxes on our
server. Ater this change the number of days to hold deleted emails had been
changed to zero instead of 7 or 14. All is good now. Thanks for prompt
response and help.
