outlook 2003, am not able to get email from comcast now since 7-25

Hello,

I am using the full version of Outlook 2003. Since doing updates from :
microsoft, avg, adaware from lavasoft, and Mcafee and adding
superantispyware 2006 I am not able to receieve email at my 3 comcast
accounts. I have contacted Comcast, not willing to help me out because they
only give support for outlook express. The last emails that I was able to
recieve were back on the 25th of this month. I can send emails, but cannot
recieve...I am however able to use the web based email from comcast though,
but hate having to log into all 3 email accounts seperatelety.
Very frustated here, oh by the way, I ran a test on the accounts and
everything checked out fine. ANY IDEAS???PLEASE?

You mention both AVG and McAfee, if you are running two AV apps they often
interfere / cause compatibility problems and neither may work correctly.
If the OL 'test accounts' work ok then there is no real reason as to why you
cannot recieve other mail, as presumably you received ok on the test? and
this uses your account settings to send/receive.
