I am running Outlook 2002 on XP and when I go to shut
down my machine the I get repeated boxes asking me to end
outlook. I may get as many as 20 depending on how many
times outlook was opened since I last shut down my
machine. If I look in the processes area I see many
sessions running. What can I do to fix this?

Thanks............Skip

Afraid I can't be of any assistance. But I will throw a 'me too' in the
thread.

I don't get the *repeated* 'end outlook' messages. I get it once, and then
get a note that 'outlook is not responding' with the 'end task' option
available. Though I really don't care for doing that, there doesn't seem to
be any other at that point.

Have you noticed any pattern to when it occurs for you? That's what's really
been driving me nuts...it *appears* to be totally random. Or if there's any
pattern to it's occurrence, I sure can't detect what that pattern is.
Sometimes I'll go a week with no problem at all (the machine will shutdown
fine), sometimes I see it every day for 3-4 days in a row, sometimes it will
skip one day then re-appear, yada yada Yodah.
