We recently switched from Cable internet to DSL. I have changed my email
account settings according to the DSL instructions. But the problem is that I
can not SEND mail. I can receive but get an error message everytime I try to
send. Any ideas other than shooting my computer? :)

Thanks!

Sorry.. here it is

Error message:
Task 'ERDI - Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x8004210B) : 'The
operation timed out waiting for a response from the sending (SMTP) server. If
you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or
Internet service provider (ISP).'

1) Make sure you're properly authenticating tot he outgoing server.
2) Disable any program that scans outgoing mail.
3) Make sure your server timeout and send/receive interval are large enough.
