Outlook 2002 (XP) isn't installing

I upgraded Outlook Express (Windows XP) to Office XP.
Everything in Office works but Outlook. The error message
says "Unable to open your default e-mail folders. Could
not open them. Try agin." I click OK, and another error
message appears. It says "Would you like to open your
default File System folder instead?" If I click No it
closs Outlook. If I click Yes, it opens but does not work
properly. When it opens, there is no calendar, contacts,
inbox, etc. There is nothing in the Outlook Shortcuts.
When I click on "Tools" the "Options..." choice is not
available (gray). There is no "Email accounts.." option.
Any suggestions?

Outlook is not an upgragde to Outlook Express. The two programs are not
related.
Accordingly, you have done nothing to configure Outlook so it knows what you
want it to do. You must start by creating a profile for Outlook so that it
knows where to find its information and what tranports to use. If you don't
