In our corporate environment, as well as with our traveling users in our stores, we have been finding that (particularly with Office XP), old calendar reminders for some users will keep coming back, no matter how many times they're dismissed and no matter how many times some of the various command-line switches are run (i.e. cleanreminders, cleanfreebusy, etc...). Some had been having this issue with Outlook 2000 and we've been upgrading them to Office XP which helps for a little while, maybe a week or two or even a few days, and then they'll start popping right back up again. This has been happening with more frequency and with more and more users.
Also, we're trying to figure out if there's something with Office XP, some kind of configuration change that makes the application work different when connected over a WAN as opposed to the LAN. We're finding that users can work perfectly fine here in our corporate office, but when they get out to the stores, they're experiencing a great deal of slowness that tends to lock up their whole machines. We can't seem to find any kind of settings that we may be able to change to get this working better. HELP.
