If there is no Exchange server on the backend, then your
mail, contacts, etc are all stored in a single file with
a PST extension. There is no automatic way to synch two
PST files, so you'd have to do it manually by copying the
file back and forth. Ugly, but it'll work if there's a
network availble to the machines. If not, you'll need
some medium large enough to hold the PST (perhaps a flash
card or USB flash thing-a-ma-gigger (that's a technical
word)).
