I'm using Outlook 2002 , version 10.4712.4219 (SP2). I have a cable modem (cox communications), a zone alarm firewall, and am running Norton antivirus 2002 (all current updates downloaded). My problem is that Outlook takes almost 30 seconds to start, and about that long to open emails or move between emails. I've tried turning off both my firewall and my antivirus programs, but neither action sped things up. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and found a solution? I do not recall just when the problem began, but believe it was shortly after getting my cable internet connection.
