After opening Outlook in a session and then closing it,
when I try to turn off computer, dialog box titled
Outlook.exe pops up reporting file will not close. It
offers a button "End Now" which has worked most times,
but I have had to cut power twice. New guy just learnin
my way. Any help appreciated.

I wish someone would post a fix for this - I've had this problem with
XP & Outlook 2002 since I installed the Office service pack SP2 & it's
driving me up the wall.

I've just added a new additional mail account (a disposable one to act
as a spam trap) and oddly enough Outlook 2002 now closes down
correctly when I exit it. Maybe this will be of some use
