Hi!

I am using Outlook 2002 and I have the problem, that when I get a
meeting-request via eMail
it is just displayed a normal text and I dont have the possibility to
accept, reject, ... the meeting

is there a special setting which makes this work ?

any help with this would be greatly appreciated, thanx in advance!

best regards,
Hans

The sender controls how it's sent to you -- whether as an Outlook meeting request or as an iCalendar item. There's nothing that you as the recipient can do to fix whatever problem exists on the sender's end.

Sue, I am getting the same issue as Hans. First I don't
see the meeting request when somebody else sends it to
me. Second, I don't see a meeting request when I send one
to myself.

However, checking my sent files, I see that the meeting
request was sent correctly (as a meeting request), but at
some point it converted to an email with a text appt.
message. No ability to accept/reject etc.

Thoughts?

I have had the same problem as a sender with Outlook 2003: When I sen
outlook meeting requests they are only delivered to the recipient a
text. What settings do I need to change? You mentioned needing a buil
number. I am on Outlook 2003 (11.5608.5703). Is that what you need?

Any help you can give would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Doug
