Outlook 2002 incoming mail server setting

My Outlook 2002 keep changing the incoming mail server
to "localhost" instead of keeping entered the isp setting.
How can I stop Outlook from doing this? Its annoying as
I have to enter the detail to download mail.

You have a 3rd party program installed (e.g. personal firewall, antivirus,
..etc) that has the ability to scan POP mail as it is downloaded. You need
to disable that feature for the POP settings to stick on Outlook.
