I'm running Office 2002 under Windows XP.
The machine originally had Office 2003. And ever since I made the mistake
of saying NO when prompted to install BCM I've had problems. The next time I
tried to run Outlook it started, I saw the outlook screen for 60 seconds then
it stopped. No popup, no message, no nothing.
I uninstalled Office 2003. Rebooted, installed Office 2002. Outlook 2002
did the same thing. I went to Office Update website; the update list was
headed by a required upgrade to Office 2003 with BCM.
When I log into the computer as a different user I don't have this problem.
It must be the way Outlook is configured for my username. Uninstalling Office
doesn't do the trick - what do I need to do to REALLY remove all Office
settings before I reinstall?
