We are tryiing to send a message on behalf of another
user. So, when we start a new message and select View
the "From Field" is not listed. How do we enable this
feature?

Thanks in advance.

Are you using Word as the e-mail editor? In that case click on the little
down-arrow on the Options button located on the Toolbar.

-Creating Signatures
-Create an Office XP CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 3

Disable Word as your email editor and you should be able to add the field.

No need to do that but the Exchange MVP's seem to be fond of that, right?

:-p
I thought it was the only way to do it, but I'm wrong (just tested on my own
Outlook).
However, yes, it's true, I don't like Wordmail - it's slower, it's bloated,
and one has a perfectly fine email editor in Outlook natively. I adhere to
KISS whenever possible!

True, but having AutoText available and a better spelling and grammar
checker are reason enough for a lot of people. But I admit; even most of the
HMTL messages could be Plain Text as well.

Display or hide the From box in a message
Create a message.
Do one of the following:
If you are using the Outlook e-mail editor

On the View menu, click From Field.

If you are using Microsoft Word as your e-mail editor

Click the down arrow next to the Options button.

No, but how are you connected? Exchange or POP3/IMAP?

Alright, if it is a separate mailbox then you can configure an extra profile
with that mailbox as the default account (make sure your Exchaneg admin has
given you sufficient permissions on the mailbox). To create a separate
profile go to Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show Profiles...
