We are still mainly Outlook 2000 and have Exchange 5.5 servers. We have
recently started getting a few Outlook 2002 clients on our network. These
users occasionally seem to have problems with getting new mail
notifications. They can click on the inbox or do something to prompt a
refresh and numerous messages suddenly show up. They also seem to have
issues with appointment notices being late or even occurring. Our Outlook
2000 clients have worked fine for years. Any idea as to what the problem
can be?

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Fred Yarbrough

Thanks Milly!

I will check this out. I have also discovered that there are some new
Send/Receive settings for Outlook 2002 and 2003 that were not there in
Outlook 2000. Hopefully, one of these will resolve this problem.

Thanks,
Fred
