Hello,
I'd like to know if someone could help me with this
situation.
a few weeks ago, I was asked to upgrade a computer. I
backed up the user's profile, pst and data to her network
drive. However, when I restored her pst and profile,
outlook wasn't able to restore all of her mail folder's
in her pst. I ran scanpst and undelete utilities to see
if windows xp hadn't crushed/override the pst but with no
success. What's strange is that none of the other files
were affected from the upgrade. every program and data
were still intact but only the pst of the user was
affected. I even reghosted the disk from the back up and
the pst wasn't restored.
is it possible to for a pst to disappear or be destroyed
from the mtr tables when upgrading windows nt4 to xp. and
ms office 2k to 2k2?
thanks in advance
