I am using Windows XP with office 2002. I am having a
problem with Outlook when I reply to a message from my
inbox. Anytime I hit the reply button the new pane that
opens up for me to reply in, opens with the document map
(Document Map is listed under the view menu). I can't
figure out why it has started doing this, as it is a new
problem that just occurred. All that I want is to
disable the document map feature. One of the other weird
parts about it is that it only opens in Plain text
formatted messages; it does not open in messages that are
formatted with HTML. I have tried removing it using the
styles and formatting feature, but it is still there each
time I hit reply. I can close it no problem, but I want
to stop it from opening all together. Any suggestions at
all would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Jennifer

In Outlook 2002, try deleting the email.dot file. Or you can open that file
and edit it (I am assuming that you use Word as the editor, right?)

Swen virus, all e-mails sent to my actual account will be deleted w/out
reading.
