Outlook 2002 Distribution List

I tried to create a distribution list, when asked to select members, all
windows are empty including "show names from the" scroll window. I have
received a message saying I have to reconfigure account. what up with this?

This newsgroup supports Outlook BCM 2003 and 2007 only. Please try the
microsoft.public.outlook group instead.

Additionally, your question as phrased right now makes no sense to me and I
know Outlook quite well. Please post what end goal you would like to
accomplish and someone should be able to tell you what it takes to get
there. That approach is typically more productive. :-)

Leonid - Thank you for your reply. I have added many contacts (complete with
email addresses) to outlook. When I click tools>addressbook>it shows nothing.
I have tried changing the properties setting contacts>properties>outlook
address book> but "show file as email address" is not highlighted making it
unable to click onto. So - what does this mean?

Don't know.

Please post your updated question in microsoft.public.outlook instead of
this group. You are more likely to get a good answer that way.

Actually, try this suggestion. It seems that you may not have an Outlook
Address Book linked to this profile. You may also need to switch your
Outlook mode to Workgroup (if applicable, don't remember Outlook XP anymore)
instead of Internet Only.

Go to Tools -> Accounts (or Tools -> Settings.. .don't remember Outlook XP
anymore)
Add the Outlook Address Book there.

Incidently - here is a list of matches to your question... One of them must
have your answer.
