Office Pro Outlook 2002 Windows XP
Because of a virus, I had to wipe & clean my c: drive. I
reinstalled Outlook 2002 and recovered my email folders
from my backup. But I can not get my contacts and/or
personal address book. (Not totally sure which I was
using.)
I have deleted the 'Contacts' and 'Personal Address Book'
and tried to import the outlook.pst file from my backup.
It pulls in the email, but no addresses.
I have spent 3 or 4 hours searching the site for an
answer, but can't see how to get adresses back after a
total re-install.
I would greatly appreciate any help.

State more clearly what you did. You need to clarify:
1. "Wipe and clean" Reformat?
2. "Recovered my email folders from backup." There are no email folders. All
Outlook data resides in a single file. What did you do?
3. Why are you importing? You should just reuse your old PST file.
4. Outlook has not used a PAB for years. Were you?
