I installed Office XP Professional. When I use Outlook (2002 is what got
installed) and try to start a new email I get an error message stating that
"Outlook cannot find Word or Word is busy and the new mail message will be
opened using the standard Outlook editor". Word is installed and I can open
it separately. When I am in Outlook and selkect "Tools" then "option" then
the "mail format" tab and check "use Word" for email and RTF documents...I
still get the error but when I come back into the mail format tab, the "use
Word" as the editor box is unchecked.

Fixed! Got old office disk...ran an uninstall
reinstalled new version of office (I didn't have any data I
wanted to save.)

Gerryc:

I experienced the same problem with Office XP Professional 2002 when running
it under MS Windows XP Home Edition 2002 (SP2). What version of MS Office XP
Professional did you use to fix the problem? What Service Pack did you load,
if any? I don't understand why MSOutlook 2002 doesn't except MSWord 2002 as
the e-mail editor. They were loaded from the same version of XP Office
Professional.
