A
Always Hopeful
My "Folder List" shows 2 primary folders (My Folders, &
Outlook Today[Personal Folders])
The Outlook Today folder contains all my data folders
(inbox, outbox, contacts, calendar, etc...)
The "My Folders" icon has a "+" sign next to it, but
whenever I Right click on the "+" sign (in order to
delete it), or the folder, I get an error message that
says: "The set of folders could not be opened. Could
not open the item. Try again".
I have removed my PST file, unistalled Outlook, and
reinstalled it many times. Every time this folder
called "My Folders" appears and I am not able to delete
it. I even tried deleting all of the files in:
Documents and Settings\owner\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook
as well as.....
Documents and Settings\owner\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook
before re-installing outlook, but I keep seeing the same
folder.
Whenever I click "Send/Receive", I get an error because
outlook cannot open this folder. I am able to select
Send/Reveive for only the good account, but that is a
pain and I would like to be able to just hit the
Send/Receive button.
I am using Outlook 2002 with Windows XP
Thanks in advance for any assistance!!!
