Outlook 2002 auto send/receive no longer working

For some reason my pop3 dailup no longer sends/receives automatically
when launching outlook, or at timed intervals. Can someone help with
suggestions on reseting this feature? XP Pro I'm using. I even did a
repair of Office XP and a clean install. Thanks for any help!
 
What are your Send/Receive group settings?
Have you checked in the File menu to see if you have set your installation
to Work Offline?

Actually, I got it to work Russ. Thanks for the help, though.
Something happened where the duration send/receive every X minutes
wasn't checked. And I was confused because I had the check on "send
immediately when connected" howeer, I had nothing to send, and then I
even had a message sent to myself sitting in the outbox that would
only get sent if I did a custom created button of send/receive all or
send/receive.

But no, I don't have the File menu set to work offline, why? What
will that do? And also does it matter about use third-party dailer or
set to line or use my own phone line? 'cuz it's working, and it's set
to LAN.
