Outlook 2002:Applying fields to folders and sub-folders

Using Field chooser I want to apply the same new field to
all of the folders in my Inbox. Is there a way of doing
this without having to make the change in each indivdual
folder.
Thanks for any advice.

If you are adding custom fields to a folder, you need to do it for each
folder. If you are referring to creating a custom view from existing fields,
however, you can create a new named view and set its scope to "All <type>
folders"
