attempting to attempting to open windows address book. Unable to find the WAB

You've just installed it on Vista?
a.) Outlook 2000 is unsupported on Vista.

b.) If you want to install Outlook 2000 on Vista it must be
installed in IMO mode.

A possible solution:: run regedit go to HKEY local machine -> software ->
microsoft ->
WAB -> DLLpath
place the path correct : "c:\program files\common files\system\wab32.dll"

Reports are that Corporate/Workgroup mode seems to work and doesn't produce
the error because the WAB isn't in use in that mode.

Thanks for the heads-up....

How do I install outlook in the IMO mode? Will this affect the other office
products?

The advice was to try switching to Corporate/Workgroup mode, not IMO mode.
