Today, for no reason I can determine, Outlook 2000 stopped sending and receiving email. I have three POP accounts (same provider). When I click the "Send/Receive" button or choose to Send/Receive All, the status box normally shows all three accounts and the progress. The list of accounts/tasks is empty. And the bottom status indicator says "0 of 0 tasks completed." There are no error messages
I have run SCANPST.EXE. I have compacted the PST file. I have reinstalled Outlook. I have gone to Tools / Accounts and unchecked the "include in send receive", saved, closed, reopened, and rechecked it. I found a Knowledge Base article about a corrupted OUTCMD.DAT file, so I renamed it (per the article)
Nothing works. Outlook still opens, appears to work normally, but absolutely will not send and receive
Any suggestions appreciated
