Outlook 2000 with Exchange 2003 calendar issue

I have several computers located in different parts of our office reporting
that outlook is locking up when their calendar is either accessed or the user
tries to accept an appointment. Is there something on the server that I can
check?
 
are you using both outlook 2000 and 2003 to access calendars? if so, do you
have the latest updates for 2000 installed?
 
All the users involved are on outklook 2000. The server has been online for
a few months now. This morning this is what I walked into when I arrived at
work. Is there something to check on the server or a utility to run?
