I tried setting outlook express to leave messages on the
server, but still no messages are getting to outlook.

If Outlook Express receives the mail that means likely
the e-mail is no longer on you ISP's servers. You already
took it so there is nothing for Outlook 2000 to get. Try
removing the POP3 account from Outlook Express. I'm sure
as long as Outlook 2000 is connected right (all conatct
information correct) you'll start receiving e-mail in
Outlook. Actually I believe Outlook 2000 SP1 is the best
version of Outlook that was made.
If you do not want to remove the POP3 server account from
Outlook Express then in the properties for that connection
I believe there is a tab (Connectionn?) where you direct
Outlook Express to leave a copy of the e-mail on the POP3
server for a number of days.message news:
