I've just updated my outlook 2000 to outlook 2002. Now when I want to send a
new e-mail, i clicked the TO: but my contacts would not appear. Furthermore,
when I click on the radio box for show names from, it cannot detect my
contacts folder. How do I solve this problem? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks...

Right-click your Contacts folder, choose Properties, select the Outlook
ADdress Book tab and check the box labeled "Show this folder as an e-mail
Address Book". Click OK, OK, then stop and restart Outlook.

I followed your instructions but the box is greyed out, i cannot check it.
What would cause this problem? Thanks..

A misconfigured Outlook Address Book service would cause that. Click
Tools>E-mail Accounts>View or change existing directories or address
books>Next.

If you see Outlook Address Book listed, select it and click Remove. Stop
and restart Outlook. Then click Tools>E-mail Accounts>Add a new directory
or address book>Next. If you don't see it, click Add.

Choose Additional Address Books and click Next. Select Outlook Address Book
and click Next. Specify the remaining information, like sort order, and
click Finish. Stop and restart Outlook. Then, check your Contacts
properties as I described int he prior message.
