Rick

I need help with a problem. I have Windows XP Pro with
three accounts set-up. On the administrator's account
sometimes the Outlook 2000 screen will not appear when I
click on the icon. (This has not happened on the other
accounts to my knowledge.)

When I restart the computer, this problem disappears and
Outlook screen comes up as it should when clicked. I have
noticed that after entering "restart the computer", that
the Outlook 2000 screen will appear for a moment during
the shutdown. It would seem as though it is hidden behind
the desktop screen.

Why does this happen? How do I prevent? What should I do
when it does happen ... just restart the computer as I
have been doing?

Thanks

Outlook is probably still running. Open the Task Manager when you think
Outlook is closed to verify this. Other programs like synchronisation
software or virusscanners could be the cause of Outlook not shutting down
correctly. Check for updates for those programs.
