Outlook 2000 - OLE error

I have a computer running Windows NT 4.0 Workstation with
Microsoft Office 2000 installed.

It was running fine until last week, someone tried to
update the OS from the windows update site. I believe
the person tried updating IE6 with the service pack 1.

After the download and installation process and
restarting, IE 6 would not finish loading. All I was
getting is a screen as if it was going to start and
nothing would happen after that. It would hang up or
something. So I uninstalled IE 6, went back to 5.5 and
it worked, but the Microsoft Outlook would give me the
following error: "An OLE registration error occurred .
The program is not correctly intalled. Run Setup again
for the program." Did not work, I have tried several
times, nothing. I have tried installing IE 6, the same
thing happens - no IE & no Outlook.

After reasearching it a little, I found an article
indicating to uninstall and reintall IE. I will be trying
this tomorrow, hopefully this will work.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

REinstall Outlook Express.
