Chris
I have a client who is running Windows XP and Outlook 2000. They have a
server running Windows 2000 and Exchange 2000.
The problem is that when a person tries to send an email to multiple
recipients outside of the office (i.e. yahoo or hotmail accts) the operation
fails. This seems to be a problem for only the XP machines. The error
message also appears when a person is trying to send an attachment to an
outside source. The attachment is in .zip format and is fairly small
(50-200k in most cases).
I have checked out the Knowledge base and the closest article I could come
up with was #195671 which deals with resolving internal addresses. They
have no problems sending anything internally.
Any information on the subject would be greatly appreciated as I have been
pulling my hair out for a couple of days on this problem.
