hi, I recently had to switch from Office XP to Office 2000
to be consistent with co workers. In the XP version when
you write an email using outlook,as soon as you type the
first words of the recipient's name, outlook used to find
and finish writing for you the complete email address. In
fact it would open a list showing the possible recipients
with the same first name, then you would choose the correct
one. I can't find this feature on the 2000 version.
I tried everything. Is it missing from this version ?
Help Please....

I don't think it was there in that version of Outlook. It's easy getting
used to it, doesn't it? CTRL+K does a name check (for some reason it is
CTRL+M on a Dutch version of Outlook so you might want to double check that
keyboard shortcut)

Tools / Options / email options / Advanced email options /
automatic name checking. To get the little list of other
possible options, right click on the name once it
completes.
