I'll try this again.....yesterday's post disappeared.

Outlook 2000
Windows XP

Last week, Outlook began to crash when opening an E-mail. Any E-mail. When I re-load Outlook, I can open the same E-mail it crashed on, but then Outlook will crash on the next E-mail....or the 2nd/3rd.

Outlook will also crash when setting an event in the calendar (Double-clicking on the Time in question, in which Outlook needs to open a dialog box)

I've tried to google the problem, with no success.

I can't open a trouble ticket with Microsoft, as the screen insists my copy of Outlook is OEM, which it is not.

I found the problem. The wife installed a "Smiley Central" (http://www.funwebproducts.com/) to Outlook, having to disable Norton Anti-virus & Spybot to do so. This program also installed a search toolbar on IE.

Hence, when using Outlook, WITH my defenses enabled, the Spyware crashed....taking Outlook with it.

Damn SPYWARE SCUM :@

:P Too bad it wasn't the teenager who installed the spyware. At least then I could ground someone.
