Outlook 2000 compatibility with 2002

I have data stored in Outlook 2000. I am considering
purchasing a PDA which syncs with Outlook 2002. Will I be
able to download data from Outlook 2000 into this PDA?
Will I have to transfer it first from Outlook 2000 to
Outlook 2002?

Better ask the supplier of the PDA's synchronisation software whether it is
compatile with other versions of Outlook. Why aren't you going to use
Outlook 200 instead?
