Outlook 2000 closes everytime I open something in calendar - why?

Within last 2 days my Outlook started acting funny. Now whenever I try to
add or open anything to my calendar, I get an error message and outlook
automatically shuts down. Does anyone have a solution for this?

And the text of that error message is? And your version of Outlook is?

Error Message: "MS Outlook has encountered an error and needs to close".

Outlook Version: MS Outlook SP-3 (9.0.0.6627)

This is Outlook 2000. In what mode do you have it installed? ClLick
Help>About and look on the second line.
