Outlook 2000 closes but doesn't close

If I close OL 2000, then open the Task Manager, Processes. OUTLOOK.EXE
is still listed there.

Can anyone explain why this is happening?

1. Use file | exit & log off, rather than clicking X
2. Addin software, for handheld sync/fax/antispam/antivirus/whatnot, can do
this. disable mail scanning in your AV if it's enabled.
