hi All,

My friend has a strange issue on his computer. He is using outlook 2000
calendar, the days Mon- Fri are in a different language but sat/sun
displayed english. Also the month is displayed in a different language. He
doesnt know much about the history of this issue because he just took over
this machine from another person. No language packs are installed on this
machine. English is the language in office applications and the default
language on the machine.

He has tried a couple of steps to resolve this issue :
New profile.
uninstall and reinstall of office.
outlook /cleanprofile.
checked the language settings which is set to english.
outlook safe mode.
checked and removed some COM addins.

None of them have worked. He is requesting me to help him out with this
issue. I didnt a search on the net but couldnt find anything useful. Please
assist with this issue. I would be grateful if MVPs could help.

Thanks and cheers

Sam

Have you tried /resetfoldernames - not sure if this works with Outlook 2000.
