I have just successfully got Outlook 2000 to run in Vista. Now in Calendar
I'm trying to get the months to show just below the toolbar as I had in Win
ME. My old display showed several months at a time and those days committed
with an appointment would be highlighted. I could also jump over to a
future month, highlight a day and create an action item. I forgot how I got
the months to display. Does anybody know the secret?

Thank Kathleen, but that doesn't work. It shows the appointments for a
given day and the open Tasks, but I don't have the whole calander
'thumbnails' that I was seeking. The answer is there somewhere. I just
can't find it.

Perhaps you have the Date Navigator's borders closed. Click View and check
Taskpad. Do you see one then?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I didn't see anything that relates to my
missing calendars. I also didn't see anything related to 'Date Navigators'.
Thanks again for your suggestion.

So what happened when you clicked View>Taskpad?

View>Taskpad does not exist. I have View> Go To or Outlook Bar or Folder
List or Show Folder Home page or Tool Bars or Status Bar. None of the
Toolbars provide a Calendar thumbnail display option.

Did you open the calendar folder first?

Ahh, you're right. Taskpad does show up when opening Calendar first. I
went to Taskpad and there were about 7 options. I went through all of the
options clicking on each and nothing brought up the desired calendars.

Brian, problem SOLVED!
I fired up my laptop with XP and played with Outlook. The trick was in
Calendar view, pull down from the top of the task pad. Now everything with
Office 2000 is fully functional with Vista.

Thanks for your assistance.

That's what I was trying to get at when I said:
