Outlook 2000 Archive files

You should be able to open the archive file like any .pst file.

(in Outlook 2002) File - Open - Outlook Data File
 
I am having the exact same problem as JAS is...not being
able to open archive files. I have saved emails and notes
as .pst files but I am not able to import them or open
them. Outlook tells me the "properties for this service
must be installed prior to use" and and the archived .pst
fils I have saved in "my documents" folder isn't a
valid .pst file.
