I just upgraded my XP MCE to Vista Home Premium (Build 6000). Everything
seemed to work as expected - except my Outlook 2003 email. Everytime I open
outlook I get a dialog box asking to enter my network password. The server
name and user name are pre-fill with the correct information. When I enter
the password the receive task stops and returns an error. I checked the
settings (Tools) and they are correct. I tested the settings and all pass.
Any Ideas?

What error is returned? Would you post it, please?

The error is shown in the Outlook Send/Receive Progress dialog box. "Task
'mail.comcast.net - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC92): 'Your e-mail
server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password in your
account properties. Under Tools, click E-mail accounts. The server responded:
-ERR user password must be specified'"

The settings in E-mail accounts are correct.

Others have reported this for Outlook 2000. I don't know if there is a fix
or not. I think not.
