Outlook 07 emails all appear READ now my Blackberry activ. Want UN

All of my email messages are appearing as read. Even if I've never seen them.
They automatically come in this way. I just activated my Outlook account on
my Blackberry w. T-mobile. They said it is not a t-mobie thing but an
outlook issue.

I cannot find anything in the help to show me how to turn this off.
