Thinking of buying Outlook Pro 07 for the Email Marketing, will there be a
problem with SQL and does the Email Marketing when tracking, unsubscribe
recepients automatically?

Unsubscribes are tracked automatically when you use Microsoft's E-mail
Marketing Service in conjunction with Business Contact Manager Marketing
Campaigns.

If you use Outlook e-mail or Word e-mail to deliver your Marketing
Campaigns, unsubscribes are NOT automatically tracked.

You can learn more about Microsoft's E-mail Marketing Service at:
http://ulogin.bcentral.com/ems/welcome.aspx

Does the Email Marketing Service cost extra? Little confused on why if I
send something thru Outlook the unsubscriber are not automatically tracked.
Is that what Email Marketing Service does, tracks, auto-opt out and give
reports on what the customer clicked per link.

Most mass e-mail messages include an "opt out" link within the message. To
support this functionality, you'll generally need a web server that can
process each "opt out" request.

Also, some Internet Service Providers (ISP's) limit the amount of bulk mail
that can be sent through their Simple Mail Tranfer Protocol (SMTP) servers.
Users who exceed their limits may be denied service.

Microsoft solves both of these issues with the E-mail Marketing Service.
For additional information on the benefits of this service, see the article
titled "Using the E-Mail Marketing Service in Business Contact Manager" at:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HP011616031033.aspx

So it sounds like that our database will on the E-mail Marketing Service
website instead of our servers/computers if Outlook doesn't do the auto
opt-out.
