I see many questions being asked about Outlook, more seem to go unanswered
than resolved. Admittedly many could be fixed by just using the help file,
but others just hang out there with little or no comment.
Personally I have had nothing but trouble since upgrading from XP to Outlook
03.
Lets see this seems to be a general problem question.....

Outlook hogs resources to the hilt when doing a send/recieve. I mean to the
point of not being able to do anything but play freecell. It wasnt always
that way at first it was great............ANYONE have any helpful suggestions.
Thanks I am frustrated

did you delete the SRS file for your profile? Look in C:\Documents and
Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook. You can easily access
it by pasting %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook in the
Address bar of your browser or Windows Explorer.
