Outlook 03 is converting all incoming e-mail to plain text

I am on an exchange server and running Outlook 2003. Recently all of my
e-mails have starting coming in plain text, not HTML. My outgoing message go
out in HTML, but every incoming message is being converted to plain text.
How can I fix this? i couldn't find anything in the options to set for
incoming e-mail.

Go to Tools\Options, select Preferences Tab and E-mail Options. There is a
check box in the top half that says Read all standard mail in plain text;
make sure that is cleared.
 
I just checked that and it is NOT selected.

Sounds like something is interfering with the messages as they arrive. I'd
first touch base with the Exchange admins to see if they check the data stream
so you can find out if the error occurs as the data enters the mailbox or if
it happens only when Outlook accesses it. If the latter, make sure you
disable any message scanning by an antivirus program, if possible.
