[TOP ISSUE - Are you having difficulty opening presentations in PowerPoint
that you just created (you can save, but not open)? -
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=329820]

Hello,

In PowerPoint 2000, 2003 and 2003, the Outline View command is not included
on the View menu by default or on the view button bar at the bottom of the
document window. However, using the Customize command, you can add it to
the View menu.

1) Tools -> Customize
2) In the "Command" tab click the "View" category
3) Drag the "Outline" tool from the "Commands" list to the View menu and
drop it where you want it to appear.
4) "Close" the Customize dialog
