I suspect it means that you are using Norton or McAfee antivirus software,
both of which are incompatible with Windows Mail/Vista.

If you are another of their victims, uninstall the product entirely
and install either AVG or Avast, both free, without the email
scanning components. You may need to delete and recreate
your email account within Windows Mail to be certain of
removing all trace of the dodgy software.
