Outgoing message error

Subject 'Southern Living Gathering', Account: 'Yahoo Mail Plus', Server:
'plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '250 8BITMIME',
Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 250, Error Number: 0x800CCC7D

How do I fix this? I'm receiving fine and tried all variations of settings,
authentications, and verified server setup information. Clueless???

Do you have a Yahoo Mail Plus account, instead of a free Yahoo account?
If so, remove that account under Window Mail, then restart Windows Mail,
then use the POP part (not the IMAP part) of these instructions for adding
the account again:

Change smtp port # to 465 , NOT 25.
Also, put a checkmark on the box that says " this server requires secured
authentication " > OK

i can send email from my new Live.com acct. but receiving them i get this
message someone please help.....

Account: 'Live Mail', Server: 'pop3.live.com', Protocol: POP3, Server
Response: '-ERR command not implemented', Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server
Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC18

Ensure that "Log on using Secure Password Authentication" is not enabled on
the server tab of that account.
 
I have been getting getting almost the exact error for months now!

"The connection to the server has failed. , Account: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com',
Server: 'smtp.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No,
Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E"

Have you (or has anyone) heard of any know solutions?

Yahoo has not recommended those server names for years. Where
did you get them from? Is your Yahoo account a free one or a paid one?
US-based free Yahoo accounts have webmail access only, no POP
access. Windows Mail handles POP mail but not Yahoo webmail.
Yahoo's solution is to pay them for premium "Mail Plus" service:

and use the special settings for that service:
