Michele

I have been receiving this error message since yesterday: Your server has
unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include
server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Subject
'Re: your gandmother', Account: 'incoming.verizon.net', Server:
'outgoing.verizon.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error
Number: 0x800CCC0F

I was working on a friend's secure network with no problem; when I returned
home to my own secure network, I started having this problem. Can anyone help
me? Thanks!

Your issue is unrelated to Windows Vista. Contact Verizon support for
assistance.

Disable you in and outgoing scanning of your emails and then you are all set. The
resident AV will still catch anything coming in

Not necessarily. I've seen this happen when a "bad" message
gets wedged in Outlook. To Michele: open your Outlook outbox and delete
the message to Grandma. Then try to send/receive.

And don't take advice from people who use AOL 1/2 :-)
