Help! I am trying to set up an automatic reply, but am finding this difficult. I go to the advanced settings in options and select out of office, but still cannot set this up. Can semeone please advise on what to do?

The Out of Office feature in Outlook only works when connected to an
Exchange Server, such as in a corporate environment. If you fit this
scenario, then look under the Tools menu for Out of Office Assistant. If
it's available, then all you have to do is turn it on and create your OOF
message.

If you don't have an Exchange Server, then there is a way to emulate the
Out of Office Assistant by using rules. Please see this Knowledge Base
article for more details:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;311107.

Hope this helps....
